Pennsville Junior Police Academy Graduation
On Friday - July 10, 2009 the Pennsville Junior Police Academy; led by Patrolman Jake Slusher,held their graduation ceremony at the Pennsville Middle School. Pennsville Fire and Rescue along with the Pennsville Ambulance Department displayed additional emergency response apparatus to allow the recent graduates the chance to get a hands on feel of another aspect of the field of public service. Displayed was the Fire Department’s E-One Quint fire truck and the Ambulance Department’s Ford F-450 Ambulance. Deputy Chief Chris Hagan, Firefighter Dave Tomlin Jr., EMT Luke Patrick Jr. and EMT Ronnie Harris were on hand to demonstrate the apparatus and allow the participants to get into the vehicles to see how they work during an actual emergency.
