Every year Pennsville Fire and Rescue holds an in station open house. This event is for all ages and something we really enjoy doing evey year. Open house is all about fire prevention and safety and everyone is welcome! This year we had members of our station educate and demonstrate in a wide range of activities such as, how to properly operate various types of fire extinguishers with live fire demonstrations.How to properly execute the stop, drop, and roll using our mats. Equipment, gear, and apparatus demonstrations as well as explanations. Not to mention letting your child feel what its like to be a real firefighter with our kids turnout gear.
